Renata Tomczak-Wandzel started working at Aquateam COWI in January 2014. Previously, she was a professor at the Department of Lubricants and Detergents Technology at the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology (2002-2013). In addition, she was Post-Doc at KTH Mark and Water Engineering in Stockholm (2011-2012). She has over 20 years of experience in wastewater treatment, including physical, chemical and biological treatment technologies. In particular, she has experience in membrane filtration of water and wastewater, as well as experience in the reuse of sludge and waste, intensification of fermentation processes, decomposition of sludge, anaerobic decomposition of waste and wastewater from the food industry, biological wastewater treatment technology with the intensification of nitrogen and phosphorus removal and recovery energy and resource use.
